Global Virtual Properties

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Global Virtual Properties mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to make any purchases. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

3. Account Registration
You may register using an email/password or a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

4. Virtual Goods and Currency
The App uses a virtual currency called “GVP Bucks”. GVP Bucks have no real‑world value and cannot be exchanged for cash, except that accumulated rent (described below) may be cashed out under certain conditions. GVP Bucks can be earned through gameplay, watching advertisements, completing offers, or purchased with real money.

5. Parcels and Rent
Virtual land parcels are tied to real‑world GPS coordinates. Each parcel is assigned a random rarity and generates “rent” at a fixed rate. Rent is denominated in USD and is displayed in your account. Rent is funded through advertising revenue and in‑app purchases. Rent earnings are not guaranteed and depend on your activity, ad engagement, and the number/rarity of parcels you own.

6. Fair Play & Inactivity Policy
To maintain a fair ecosystem, the App includes the following rules:

Inactive Accounts: If you do not open the App for 30 consecutive days, your rent generation will be paused. Your existing balance will remain intact, but no further rent will accrue until you log in again.

Referral Earnings: If you referred another user and they remain active, you normally earn a percentage (5%) of their real‑money GVP Bucks purchases. However, if you (the referrer) are inactive for 30 consecutive days, your referral earnings from all referred users will be paused until you log in again.

These measures prevent dead accounts from accumulating value and protect the game economy.

7. Cash‑Outs
You may withdraw your rent balance to a PayPal account once it reaches the minimum threshold ($8 for free users, $5 for VIP subscribers). Withdrawals are processed via PayPal’s Payouts API. We reserve the right to delay or deny withdrawals if we suspect fraud, violation of these Terms, or if the App’s revenue is insufficient to cover the payout. Cash‑out requests are final and cannot be reversed.

8. Subscriptions and In‑App Purchases
The App offers optional subscriptions and one‑time purchases of GVP Bucks. All prices are in United States Dollars. Payments are processed by third‑party gateways (PayPal), and EFT (Capitec). Subscriptions automatically expire after the paid period unless renewed. You may cancel a subscription at any time from the Settings screen, but no refunds are given for partial unused time unless required by law. Subsciptions via EFT Capitec must be renewed by the user 7 days before it expire, whether it's monthly or yearly subscriptions, not to loose continuety of earnings.

9. Building System
The building feature requires an active “Properties Upgrade VIP” subscription. Buildings multiply the rent of the parcels they cover. If the subscription expires, existing buildings remain, but you cannot place new buildings or upgrade until you resubscribe. Buildings are purely cosmetic and functional within the App; they have no real‑world value.

10. Challenges and Rewards
Monthly challenges provide free and premium reward tracks. Points earned from tasks can be exchanged for GVP Bucks, diamonds, or special items (e.g., Legendary Upgrades). Legendary Upgrades are one‑time use items that permanently convert a parcel to Legendary rarity. All challenge rewards are subject to availability and may be modified at any time.

11. User Conduct
You agree not to:

Cheat, exploit, or manipulate the App in any way.

Use automated scripts, bots, or GPS spoofing.

Harass, threaten, or harm other users.

Upload or post content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property.

Attempt to reverse‑engineer or decompile the App.

12. Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, graphics, logos, and game mechanics, is owned by Global Virtual Properties and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

13. Third‑Party Services
The App integrates with Google Maps, Google Sign‑In, PayPal, Yoco, and advertising networks. We are not responsible for the content, performance, or privacy practices of these third‑party services. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

14. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available within the App and at [insert privacy policy link]. We do not sell your personal information.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE SERVICE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBAL VIRTUAL PROPERTIES AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF EARNINGS, DEVICE DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY. DO NOT USE THE APP WHILE DRIVING, CYCLING, OPERATING MACHINERY, OR IN ANY SITUATION THAT MAY CAUSE HARM TO YOURSELF OR OTHERS. BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AT ALL TIMES.

16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Virtual Properties and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

17. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and any remaining virtual currency or rent balance may be forfeited.

18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Permanently Delete Account."

This immediately and permanently deletes your account, including your

email, username, virtual land ownership, transaction history, and

location data.

If you no longer have the app installed, email

support@globalvirtualproperties.co.za with your registered email

address to request deletion, and we will process it within 30 days,

except where we are required to retain records for legal or tax

purposes.

You can also use "Request Data Export" in Settings to receive a copy

of your data before deleting your account.
